Habitat Information:

Reproductive Information:

Both male and female Mud Lyninx can become pregnant. They are pregnant for 2-3 weeks before laying an egg. The egg must be put into muddy water to fertilize, 5 days after being placed into muddy water the egg will hatch.

But it is also possible for a Mud Lyninx to be born when the rain is heavy enough to wash mud into an area of water.

After being born, the Mud Lyninx will stay in the water until they are 5 years old. This gives them enough time to form the shape of their species.

After emerging from the water they had lived in,

they take on the colors that they see and enjoy for the first year that they are outside of the water.

In the time that they live in the water, they listen to the conversations of passersby or visitors to the area of water they reside in. They listen and absorb the words they hear, they take one of the words they hear and they become their names.
